2 year molars?

My son is only 21 months but he has been beyond cranky the last week or so. More clingy than usual. Has been waking up multiple times a night. Will randomly get red cheeks and rub at them. And today I noticed he’s drooling like crazy. He doesn’t want to keep his pacifier in anymore he will literally throw it when he is usually obsessed with it at bedtime. I tried to look back there while I brushed his teeth and I could see/feel the tooth outline underneath the gums but it wasn’t red or irritated looking.

Could he already be getting his 2 year molars? He has all his other teeth besides those.

He just woke up screaming and has a low grade fever and drooled all over my shirt so much while I rocked him that it soaked my shirt. My poor baby😫
