Brown period?

I have very regular periods and always with the same mild-severe pms symptoms (breast soreness, cramps, emotions). This time around, I didn’t have any of my pms symptoms and my period is super light. My usual day 3 is practically a crime scene but today, I’m hardly bleeding. The first two days were just brown discharge. I had protected sex almost a month ago to the date. Has anyone else experienced this???
