Spotting a week before period due

So I’ve had light spotting for the past six days and my period is due tomorrow. The spotting completely stopped today and am wondering if I’m possibly pregnant. My sister said to take a test tomorrow morning. I’ve been trying to get pregnant with my husband for over a year and a half and just went to fertility clinic this week. I thought for sure my period was coming today then I stopped spotting. So any thoughts are welcome. Also I normally spot before my period for a few days 2-4 days but never this many.
