What to use?

I have an 18m old and she has dry hair and its curly like ringlets and it typically dries straighter and into a fro instead of in her curls. I have been using kids shampoo and conditioner on her since she was 4m old and it’s done great but I was wondering if I could use adult shampoo and conditioner on her or at least adult conditioner. I would definitely make an appointment with a curly hair specialist at a salon so they can help you identify what her particular hair needs. I have really thick, long, coily hair and I had no clue what to do with my hair for the longest time since I had gone natural since 2019. Finally just this year 2024 I caved and saw a curly hair specialist and it was a game changer! It used to take at least 10hrs on wash day for me to wash and style my hair. My hair was such a problem that I shaved it off 5 times since 2019! Well now that I’ve been working with a professional (African lady) my hair routine has drastically improved and so have my hair. My biggest issue was my hair used to repel water like crazy! I used to assume my hair could never fully get saturated with water because it would bead off. Also all the thousands of dollars I spent on hair care products all sucked because it just sat on top of my hair instead of penetrating it. Now I’ve learned that the reason why this was is because I was shampooing all wrong. Shampoo is what moisturize the hair and is the most vital step to getting water to penetrate the shafts of the hair. Once my hair was cleansed properly I noticed my hair retained water, and conditioning actually absorbed in my hair. I stopped using so many products and literally only use (this is my hair care routine every 5-7days) Innersense shampoo (I wash my hair twice with this) and a stronger clarifying shampoo (I use once), I work the shampoo through my hair with a detangler brush, then I condition by splitting the hair into sections and working the conditioner through my hair with the brush. After while my hair is still soaking wet I add my moisturizer, and hair gel or mousse. Then bam that’s it my hair is all done. I typically will use a defuser to help dry my hair after the shower.
