Exclusive pumping?

Hi ladies, I'm looking into exclusive pumping. I want my daughter to have breast milk but I'm such an anxious person I know breastfeeding in public will be uncomfortable for me. I wouldn't care about breastfeeding in front of my 4 year old or husband but I do have a 14 year old step son who is with us 5 out of the 7 days and wouldn't feel comfortable breastfeeding in front of him either.

So I think exclusive pumping is the best option for me, but I don't even know where to begin as there are so many different pumps. If anyone can give me some recommendations or advice I would be beyond grateful.
