For the girls who didn’t have sex until 18+

What was it that your parent(s) taught you that encouraged you to wait? What was so different about your upbringing in comparison to children who had sex young?

Yes, I’m sure most parents told their kids not to engage in sex but that’s not enough for some kids.

I have a daughter and I want to be sure I do all I can to keep her a child as long as she can & be and just hope she doesn’t give her body away prematurely.

She’s 6 now but I feel like it starts now. Not when she’s 14-16 trying to love herself. So while I’m aware it may be weird I’m asking so soon, I just want to do my best as a mother. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.
