Spotting question

Hey y’all , I’ve been spotting on and off for the past 4 days my period is due tomorrow ! But the bleeding isn’t getting heavier and it’s really starting to confuse me I’m getting negative test some with faint lines then positive then faint again so I’m unsure what my body is trying to tell me ?

Has anyone else experience this and outcome was they was pregnant by any chance the bleeding only occurs when wiping nothing on a pad :/
