Husband didn’t lock front door while I was asleep

Am I right to feel upset over my husband forgetting to lock the front door completely when he left while I was still asleep in bed? We aren’t in a terrible area, but I also wouldn’t say it’s safe enough to just leave our door unlocked. This isn’t the first time he’s been this forgetful. He wasn’t in a rush either. He left to go out with his friend early in the morning. Well, two hours later I come to find the door was completely unlocked.

I’ve already been feeling resentful because he often doesn’t consider others outside of his own needs. I literally have to spell it out for him oftentimes. Being left vulnerable and asleep is just another thing to add. Thoughts?
