Is it bad to bring my bf into my room at my parents house?

I’m 25. I want to bring my boyfriend (of 7 years) to my house, but I don’t want to just be in the living room (my house isn’t big so everyone can hear what we are saying) and there’s also people coming in and out of the house all day long. I would like to be with him in my room, I have a TV and AC and I’d love to just watch a movie while laying together. Obviously not thinking of anything sexual. I just want some privacy and my room is the only place I could get that but I don’t know if that’s rude to my mother? Or disrespectful to her? I just have my mother and siblings at home

This is a conversation that you need to have with her. Growing up I never brought men home. My mother was just and still is ridiculous and in 45. To this day can’t talk to her about anything. I dealt with everything alone. Miscarriages. Rape. Childhood sexual abuse. She was just never anyone I could talk to about anything. Zero to 100 would flip out and over react to everything. Narcissist. You get the point. Not sure how your mother is. If you are able to have open conversations. Talk to her. Mom I’m 25. I work. I’m responsible. I get good grades. Whatever. I have been dating ___ for years. You know him. I wanted to know if it would be ok to watch movies in my room. We are not going to have sex. Just hang out in there.  See what she says. May I ask why you're 25, youve been together for 7 YEARS and you dont live together...? Whether its rude or not depends on your parents house rules, since it is their house. Youve been with him 7 years, they should he used to him coming around by now. Just talk to your mom about it.
