Anybody with hypermesis gravidium?

I was diagnosed with HG this weekend. 11 weeks 4 days. I am miserable, I am so thirsty and hungry and can’t keep anything down at all. I have a raging headache now too ☹️

Have your doctors put you on any medications to help? I haven’t been diagnosed but believe I have it. I lost 5 pounds in one week and had to go in for fluids and my doctor prescribed nausea meds. My last pregnancy I lost 20 and didn’t gain it back until 3rd trimester. My doctor then freaked out about the babies growth development…  Baby girl was completely healthy (thank goodness) but I wonder if meds would have helped prevent that all then. I’ve tried them all of the nausea meds now and the only one that helps is zofran. My doctor heavily recommended it because the side effects of being malnourished is so much worse than the meds. I haven’t gained any weight back but I’m at least maintaining the weight I had when I got put on meds. Might be worth looking into if you’re really struggling. They also mentioned putting me on a zofran pump at one point!

I was diagnosed around the 8 week mark, currently 15+4. I’ve had 3 admissions and been on every anti sickness medication but nothing has really eased off. 
I’ve found that I can tolerate fluids better if I have lots of ice Lolly’s or just suck on ice. ive also found sticking to the most plain foods like biscuits, toast and literally doinf like one bite every 10 mins works best. 
if youre struggling just go back and get fluids and iv antisickness etc. my early pregnancy unit gives open access so i literally just call them and go straight in and get started. 
its tough but just remember its a good sign thag your hormones are high
