A few weekends ago my husband went out with his “boys” I woke up out of a dead sleep to him still gone. It was 2 am. He didn’t come home until 3:30 with a wild ass story. He said that one friends house they was at had a stabbing, so they went to the bar, only for the other friend to have to rush to grab their kids from out of town due to the step grandpa threatening to off them with a knife. I let it go because it seemed like a long and scary night.

Then last night he comes home late again, not nearly as late as before, but late. He has another extra story about how they was pulled over by the police for an out headlight. Said the officer allowed him to get out and check the headlight himself, and it was in fact out.

So I need to go out of town tonight so I checked the headlight before leaving only to find BOTH on and not out. I called to let him know about this and he says “that’s not important right now.” So when I got home before leaving I said it again. To which he argued that it was not on its out… even though I seen it on myself…. He smarts off saying “how is it on when it’s not dark out yet?” I said I don’t know but it was on both sides. He gets mad and said I’ll check when it’s dark. I said okay. But like I said it was on. He got mad and told me to just drop it and just the fuck up because it was off and he’d prove it to me later.

Now it’s got me wondering if this man is lying. Because why get mad?
