This is an update from my last post. Long story short I was the only one working. I work 60 hours a week. My mom is a sahm but had to look for a job because we aren't doing great financially. Instead of finding a job she talked to a girl on Facebook who said she could make 6 figures selling these shakes and even though I told her no she still went and took 4k out of our savings which was most of our money and bought those shakes to sell.

I've been really angry at her and we had a horrible fight this morning when I threw out the D word. She was going to attempt to sell them at the hospital close to our house because apparently these shakes can double as a health shake. The websites for these shakes make insane heath claims. Like "My aunt had cancer and she drank one of these shakes and now she's free!" Just dumb things but the lady she bought the shakes from suggested she try to sell them at the hospital because we have one of the largest children oncology centers. I got pissed and told my wife she already threw away 4k. We are not adding scamming parents who have children with cancer on top of it. She argued that it's not a scam and her new Facebook friend explained everything. I yelled at her to stop listening to people running the scam saying it's not a scam. She told me that I wanted her to sell the shakes and now I'm trying to stop her. I'm assuming that parents who have kids with cancer already have a lot of medical bills. They aren't gonna pay $80 for a shake. I got pissed and told her if I find out she's selling that trash to parents with sick kids I'm getting a divorce and taking the kids. I upset her and now I feel bad. I'm mad we are in this situation to begin with and I never want to throw out the D word. I already doubt she's gonna make money with this pyramid scheme but even if she makes a little I don't want it to be from desperate parents trying to cure their kids.
