So I am currently just friends with a guy that I had relations with in hs. We are grown now and he have been trying to hang out with me and likewise myself too- for me, just on a platonic level. However, he gives me the vibes that he’s trying to have a fwb with me, etc. so ln we talked and my intuition was confirmed. I told him that I’m not interested in a fwb, as I’m just trying to be his friend and nothing more. He continues to talk about our past in hs. I’m trying to divert the conversation. So I ask about the woman he always post on sc and he tells me that that’s his gf. I chuckled a little bit and I’m like you have a gf, but you’re trying to have a fwb relationship with me. I told him I’m not interested in that and I’m respectful of his relationship, etc. he then says he should have not told me that that was his gf. I then say, so you have a gf, but trying to be my fwb… how would that make you feel if your gf did the same thing. He got in his feelings and said he’d be done with her… and I’m like my point exactly.

Idk. I’m just over some men. So is it possible to have a true platonic friendship with a man, even if you all have a past relation of 10 plus years ago?
