Bigger Person Or Letting Her Win?

My manager grunted at me when I walked in through the door a couple days ago. I asked her how she was and she flat out grunted again. She got very aggressive towards me when I had booked the last 2 days of my annual leave.. I thought this was really unnecessary considering I always offer to do more days as we are short on staff. She’s new and a lot colder than my previous boss. I know people do their jobs differently but I thought this was crossing a line.. Especially when it literally wasn’t a big deal. I literally got home and started balling because it was so uncomfortable and unexpected. Am I being the bigger person for chatting about the situation or am I letting her win?
