My Heart is Breaking - 3rd Lost Pregnancy & This One Was Twins

Brittany

So, I had an ultrasound 7/15/24, and they measured a us a little smaller than expected. However, I had just miscarried May 1 and didn’t have a period before getting pregnant again. So, they said we were 6w1d 7/15/24… a little over a week later, I had my hemoglobin tested, and it was low at 9.9, so anemic. Was struggling with that for a while and then started spotting a little Friday night, August 2. By Saturday afternoon, it was increasing but still not a lot. Then from about 11pm-2am, I was experiencing extreme cramping and back pain - labor… I was able to sleep from about 2am-5am Sunday morning but woke up to a “whoosh”… my water broke. I rushed to the bathroom and ended up passing one large, 2-horned placenta and 1 large, divided gestational sac… twins! Mono-Di identical twins. This was my 3rd failed pregnancy. I have 2 boys, 6 & 3. Then one miscarriage. Then rainbow baby girl. Then a single and now twins back to back. 😔
