I dont know how to go about this

Today i found out my husband receives social security benefits for our two toddlers. Total about $500 every month through his military disability benefit.

He never told me.

He doesn’t contribute extra for the kids. We do everything half and half. Im upset because I feel its selfish of him, he spends all his money on himself outside of living expenses. I feel like i don't have a say because the ss is through him. How should i go about this? How can I explain to him to maybe save the money for the kids instead of using it himself?
