Infant car seat that reclines va lightweight?

First time mom here. Can’t decide if an infant car seat that reclines would be as useful as I imagine. It’s 12lbs! 😬

My baby might have a clubfoot 😕 If that’s the case, we will be going to weekly appointments for a while the first few months. I will be doing the travel system so I won’t be carrying the car seat in and out of the hospital. Just in and out of the car.

At the infant stage, did you have to move your sleeping baby out of the car seat a lot? Do you think a recline feature would have been helpful to let the baby sleep once you got home? Would you choose the recline feature or go for a more lightweight option?

Babies can’t sleep in car seats so the recline feautures seems useless.

For me the recline feature is imortant as means longer car journeys are possible safely, and my parents live far away - if you aren't doing long journeys probably light weight is more important. You shouldn't leave baby in the car seat when home.

You can’t leave a baby sleeping in a car seat when you get home. It doesn’t seem like a practical feature. 
I highly recommend looking into safeintheseat on Instagram. There are so many factors that go into buying a car seat.

To clarify, the recline feature is only for when the car seat is not in the base. So only when in the stroller or at home.
