Bleeding and synchronic hematoma

Jacqueline

I visited the ER yesterday due to waking up on the previous day with a good amount of bleeding.

I expected to have miscarried and spent the day mourning. With plans to call my OB in the am.

That night however, I was up all night, dizzy, faint, weak and going from extremely hot to extremely cold. Instead I opted for the ER.

At the ER I received some good news. Baby is still there with a heartbeat of 166. Bad news, I thought I was 9 weeks and instead am only 7 weeks.

I was also told I had subchorionic hematoma.

That it isn’t affecting the baby yet, but could in the future. I’ve had one before and my OB told

Me they don’t affect the baby. But this doctor told me they could affect the pregnancy later on. So now I’m confused and left dreading each appt.

Has anyone had one and had a perfectly healthy pregnancy and baby?
