Apparently, car seat regulations are the culprit for declining birth rates in the US.

You heard that right, it’s not maternal mortality, it’s not bans on reproductive health, it’s not the lack of maternity leave, it’s not the disaster that is childcare (both expense and availability), it’s not the issue of buying homes that fit all these kids is next to impossible, it’s not the fact that they’re being shot in elementary schools, it’s the car seats!
