Am I wrong for not wanting my boyfriend to go to his best friends wedding

My boyfriend and I have a 4 year old son together. My boyfriends best friend since daycare is getting married and my boyfriend is his best man. However I found out they are doing a childless wedding with NO exceptions. They aren't even having a ring bearer of flower girl. The maid of honor is going to do the flowers and the rings will be carried by the best man. My boyfriend. I feel like this isn't fair because they don't know anyone else who has kids so this rule seems to be just affecting me and my boyfriend. I don't have sitters so my boyfriend said if we can't find a sitter why can't he just go and I stay home with our son. That feels wrong for a man with a family to do. My boyfriend is saying he's not going to miss his best friends wedding and that if it wasn't for his best friend he wouldn't be here because he was there with him through his darkest days. including when we broke up the first time. I feel like it's wrong to leave the mother of your child alone while you go to a wedding just because the couple wants to be selfish and discriminate against parents.
