So I am 5 months and my partner is looking for more steady jobs, he then asked about the air force / navy because they have good benefits and he could take care of our baby and I.. but my thing is I don’t want to just do it because he gets benefits. What is the real lifestyle of living on base, how do you deal with a baby on base, and how do you cope with what if he gets deployed? And how long is the process to even living on base with him?

Im annoyed because he also wanted to go back to university and play football and get a degree. Then some other stuff, I feel like he’s just picking that cause it seems like an easy way out and quick way to get money and a house handed to him. Like is that really what you wanna do? He thinks he just goes to work and comes home. I can’t deal with especially this is our first child, I’m 22 finishing up my degree now on campus. How this would fit into a new lifestyle along w what I wanna do in life.

I need advice, he seems annoyed that I’m not saying much but it’s like ….. he’s already talking bout moving to NC with his mom and we can live there since she has an extra room. And I’m already iffy about that because I would be leaving my own family behind. It’s to much going on. I need help
