I refuse to refer to myself as a “geriatric” pregnancy

We started trying this last cycle, once. I used an ovulation kit for the first time and it showed high levels a day earlier than the app predicted I even ovulate (which I should’ve remembered from my first baby 5 years ago.) So jokingly said to my partner, hey today is the day let’s start trying… that was September 20th.

Took a test on Friday, ok took 4 tests because I was in shock after the first one . All positive.

Doc confirmed today.

Fertility is such a crazy thing. I am so grateful for our journey and so empathetic to my fellow TTC who are trying so hard for their little ones.

Also… I’m 37 and refuse to consider myself a geriatric pregnancy- What a horrible term!
