Best advice for single mom looking to relocate?

Hi all,

I am a single mom with a toddler looking to relocate out of the Midwest. I just want new beginnings. Last year, I attempted California- I was three for three months for a temp work assignment. I took my toddler and was able to find day care, etc. I did eventually find a permanent job in Cali, but quickly discovered that the cost of living plus daycare was way beyond my budget as a single mom, so I returned to the Midwest.

My goal is to be again permanently relocated by February in a new state, but I’m just at a dilemma. I love the west coast, and was thinking about trying Arizona, however, I only have one friend there and I would like to move to a state where I have more of a community.

I’m thinking bw Phoenix and HTX. In TX, I have a few friends and family there and I feel that it would be an easy city to adapt to for myself and my child..

Please help. I am not wanting to tell my family/ friends as I do not want them to influence my decision.

Any advice is greatly appreciated..
