What is the best birth control to stop

Menorrhagia.

I am always on my period. I am literally on the verge of a mental break down. My symptoms are :

- weird smell that does not go away no matter what medication is used

- constant bleeding or spotting

- Low iron

- inflamed and painful ovaries

I have started using Maeve norethindrone 0.35 mg. Ever since I started using it, I have been experiencing heavy bleeding non stop. It only makes my symptoms worse .

Idk if this is break through bleeding but I have been bleeding for two weeks straight.

I have to wait for my gynocologist to get back to me. I have to wait until November because the doctor is on vacation.

I am always trying to find and avenue for resolution. I was thinking of visiting my family doctor and ask to get a higher dose of Norethindrone? Anyone else experience break through bleeding?
