I have my kindle and I get books from kindle unlimited - worth it if you read a lot of books! The KU app can also be used on your phone, iPad, etc. Also the Libby app - links to local libraries and you can borrow or get on their waitlists to borrow the books and even audiobooks! That is totally free and also can be used on a lot of different devices! 
Physical books I go to Half Priced Books, Target or Amazon but sometimes with Amazon they come damaged 🥲
