Trouble in paradise

I have been married for just over 1 year now but we have been together 11 years. The last couple years it seems as if my husband puts in less and less effort into our relationship. This year he did nothing for our weddinf anniversary or my birthday which falls 9 days after our anniversary. I had only asked him to do 3 chores for my birthday since i was working and then visiting my mother at the hospital. When i got home nothing was done and he was gaming. He told me it was my own fault my birthday was horrible because i came home and started a fight. Is this what marriage is really like?
