Ovulating on Birth control?!?help I’m scared

Hi can someone please give me advice because I’m freaking out rn and paranoid. I had a surgical abortion 16 days ago. I started the twirls patch birth control 10 days ago. I felt ready to have sex with my partner last night. I we had sex without a condom. I’ve been having this discharge before and after we had sex. The more I’m searching it looks like ovulation cm. Please help. Should I take a plan b to be safe ?
