Am I pregnant? (UPDATE)

Question

I had unprotected sex and the guy came inside without my permission. He’s very old (64) and I took a pill as soon as I got home but I’m experiencing cramps similar to period cramps but that’s my only symptom. Could I be pregnant even though I took a pill?
(Update: I was not pregnant, just paranoid. I got my period a day after this post.)

Age does not affect a man’s fertility like it does to a woman. At 64, he is still pretty much fertile and able to get you pregnant. So if he ejaculated inside you in your fertile week, there is a chance you can get pregnancy. Emergency contraceptives greatly reduce this chance.
You do not say when you took emergency ? After taking it, most woman will experience an artificially caused period about 5 to 7 days after taking it. This is caused by the hormones leaving your body (withdrawing) and it is called withdrawal bleeding. This can be like a full period, just spotting, or very heavy bleeding, with all the period signs.
If it is before the 5 to 7 days, he might have jumped into your cervix and bruised it, causing pain and cramping.
The only way you can know that you are pregnancy or not, is by taking a pregnancy test.
After taking emergency contraceptives, your cycle may be delayed and it may take a month or two or three to settle down again. So don’t panic if you do not get your next period on time, test.

Well that depends. The pill doesnt really work if you have already ovulated or if your above a certain weight. I took the pill and still ended up pregnant and the doctor told me it was more than likely due to my being overweight. Do you keep track of your ovulation?
