Is it normal?: Love and 0 sex life

Hello! I am 28 years old and in a relationship with the guy I love for 1 year. We are really doing great, he is romantic and cares me a lot. At the beginning of our relationship he was always wanting me and we were having sex like 2-3 a day. It lasted about 4-5 months. After that, he had some health issues and we did not do so much thing.. and now we are having close to zero sex for like 7 months. I iniated couple of times and tried to talk to him if he does not find me attractive or not. But he says he loves me and finds me very beautiful but he does not have that feeling regarding sex. What should I do? Breakup is not an option for me as we love each other sooo much. Please give me advice how to revive old days?
