Labor intensive job as a nurse has me worried about my pregnancy
I lift people and I do it with help but lately my back has been hurting and so has my pelvis. It has me worried that I could harm my baby later down the line my the repetitive lifting and heaving. Sometimes I forget to ask for help and attempt to move people myself and that causes pain/discomfort in my pelvic area.
When I was pregnant with my daughter I didn’t work in the beginning so I wasn’t as worried about doing stuff that could harm her. Later on during that pregnancy I did work as a caregiver and hefted up patients and cleaned them up so it was physically intensive. But by then I was like 30 something weeks and I feel like ya know she could handle me moving around and lifting stuff. But rn I’m worried because I’m early in my pregnancy and I don’t want the extra strain to cause something to go wrong. ;(
Has anyone dealt with the same and their pregnancy turned out alright?
