Need opinions please!

My boyfriend’s daughter has been very interested in the whole birthing process and pregnancy journey. She is only 8. She wants to be included in the birthing process (in the room) but I just feel like that’s way too much for an 8 year old! I’ve only been in her life for about a year but we are pretty close. What are some ways I can make her feel included without her having to be in the room during actual labor? Sorry if the seems weird I’m so new to kids and all of this.
