Levothyroxine vs. Morning Sickness

Dita

In my 2nd trimester & I am still battling terrible morning sickness usually every morning. I find that when I wake up in the early hours to go do my regular pee around 4-5am, I will eat a few crackers out of my nightstand & go back to sleep fir a bit. I find this really helps curb the queasiness that when I actually do get up & get actively moving which is normally when it strikes.

The problem lies with the fact I have hypothyroidism & I am supposed to take my Levothyroxine on an empty stomach in the morning & wait 30 minutes to eat. I’ve tried taking it before I eat the crackers but I immediately will throw it up. Taking my medicine on an empty stomach has never been a problem for me until pregnancy.

The only thing I can do is take it before I eat lunch as my stomach should be back empty by then but I am nervous it is not as effective as first thing.

Does anyone else have this problem?
