How long is everyone waiting to announce?

In the past for my two oldest I have announced right away but this time I think I want to wait until 20 weeks. When is everyone else announcing?

I’m planning to announce to my mom and sister this week. But my husbands side of the family either at my sons second birthday which would make me 14 weeks but me and hubby are thinking to wait a big longer until my belly starts showing a bit.. maybe even after our anatomy scan at 20 weeks.

This is our 5th, so I already know negative reactions are coming from people who think we are crazy 😂 so I’ll be waiting as long as possible!

We will likely announce to closer family and work after first ultrasound and NIPT. Will probably wait until after 20 weeks to announce more broadly.

We had a loss at 12 weeks last year which is when we announced with our other 2. I’m thinking we’ll wait until closer to 20 weeks this time.
