Boyfriend block me because of this

Yesterday my boyfriend went about his day and didn’t contact me, this is something he’s done multiple times before. It’s like if I don’t text him he dont feel the need to text me. Yesterday he went all day without reaching out to me. I had text him around 11 am and he read my message and left me on read. 8pm comes I reach out again saying if I don’t text he dont reach out then he text back within seconds saying he’s in his bed. Then he basically started making excuses. So I stop talking about it, didn’t bother arguing with him. Fast forward to today I see that he blocked me. When he’s the one at fault….
