How do you decide which thing like pumps and bottles to get?

Pregnant with my first baby here and I’ve been looking to make a registry but I can’t decide which brands to choose! How did y’all decide?

Read reviews. Kept receipts. Didn’t open more than one of something at a time. Hoped for the best. If my baby didn’t like it, I returned or sold or donated or gifted.

I’m a therapist and so I’ve seen a lot of things in practice, that helps! At the end of the day babies can be picky. A lot of the free registry boxes you can get from places like baby list, target, etc they come with samplers of things. They also make sampler boxes of things like bottles. My personal fav and the one I try to get all newborns started with at first is dr browns narrow neck. But sometimes babies just aren’t having it!

Each baby is different so might be a good idea to have a few different kinds of bottles to try. Then after you can tell which ones baby likes you can get a few more.

I began with googling and reading reviews on the best pump and bottle brands. Then after my daughter was born I used them and experimented with a few brands before finding the one we liked, which was the original one we bought.
