Membrane sweep maybe?

Yesterday I went in for my 36 week appt for my GBS swab, the doctor chose to do a membrane sweep (without my knowledge, but also hasn't been proved or reassured). She went into my cervix with the swab, not sure if she accidentally swept it or what, it took her about 2-3 minutes for the "swab" and left me bleeding. It's been about 32 hours since my appt and I have finally stopped bleeding, I have been having severe period like cramps in my pelvis and back, and have been slowly losing my mucus plug the past few days. What is going on with me? Lol. Early labor? First time mom here and currently not feeling trustworthy of my doctor...I have pictures of both the mucus plug and blood I've been experiencing if that would help anybody help me lol
