Is dating and anatomy sonogram the same thing?

I was supposed to have an Anatomy sono at 14w 5 days last week but they canceled it because they said my last one which was 4 weeks ago looked really well… but I thought the point of Sonos is to keep up with the baby and check to see how they’re doing all the time! she said usually the anatomy sono would be around 20 something weeks that’s when I’ll have my next one but I think the sono app I had 4 weeks ago was placed by mistake. Idk I just want to know if this is normal I was ready that morning to go and disappointed about the sudden change of plans.

No dating scan they do about 8-13 weeks see when due date is and anatomy scan is 20-23 weeks see gender check every little thing over to make sure babies organs and everything are okay and normal

A dating scan is very different from an anatomy scan. 
At most practices you get 1-3 scans. A dating scan, nt scan, and anatomy. Sometimes the dating and nt scan are done at the same time. Nt scans aren’t being done as often as getting the NIPT is easier and accepted by more insurances (nt scan doesn’t need to be done if NIPT is done). Anatomy scan is always done. It’s the only one that needs to be. It’s typically done between 18-22w with 20 being ideal. More scans may be done if high risk or if a growth scan is needed.
So if you opted to do NIPT, that’s likely why they canceled this scan.

Normal. Anatomy scan is 20ish weeks. Most do 1 scan around 7-9 weeks and then anatomy at 20-22 weeks. Some do another in between at 16 weeks to check the nuchal fold for Downs syndrome, but it's considered not so necessary since the NIPT became available.
