I can’t tell if I have a UTI or the start of a herpes out break

I have HSV-2 and have had it for about a year and a half. Since I have it I can’t ever tell if a breakout is starting or if it’s something else. I’m peeing really frequently and it has a red tint, no sores but i smell a little bit like a breakout. I’m on daily meds and haven’t missed any. Please lmk if you think it’s a uti. (I don’t want to go to the dr if it’s just an outbreak)
