Tell me I’m not the only one. 🥹

Hello, ladies! I’m posting to see if I’m not the only one experiencing this. I’ve always had heavy and painful periods. Normally, the pain is worst on the first and second days, but after that, I can pretty much manage everyday household chores and go about my day. My period usually lasts about 5–6 days.

However, about three years ago, I noticed a change in my cycle. I would still have painful periods on the first and second days as usual, but then my period would completely stop on the fourth day and return on the fifth day. When it starts again on the fifth day, it’s not as heavy, but it’s just as painful as the first day.

I’ve been suspected of having endometriosis and recently found an amazing laparoscopic surgeon in my city. I’m now considering excision surgery. However, I’m curious if anyone else has experienced this. I’ve researched all the symptoms of endometriosis, and I have most of them, but I haven’t read or heard of anyone having this specific experience—where their period stops and then comes back just as debilitating as the first day. This happens every month. And if anyone else experiences this, did it improve after surgery?

I’d appreciate it if you could share your experiences. Thank you!🥹
