potty training

my daughter is 3, we started introducing the potty about 5 months ago and she’s finally used to peeing on the potty and does it well, she rarely has accidents when it comes to peeing, however she hates pooping on the potty. she tells me she’d rather poop in her underwear, she refuses to tell us when she has to poop, she holds it while she’s on the toilet and then poops in her underwear. i don’t know what to do anymore, she’s just refusing. anyone else’s kid do this? what did yall do about it?
