Breast Pumps

Question

I was wondering if anyone could give me some suggestions on good wearable pumps?  I tried pumping with my first and it just was not working out because all I had was a pump that I had to sit and hold. So I wasn’t able to do that AND take care of my baby and other things. I don’t want an expensive one. Would prefer not to break the bank, especially since I am kind of wanting to buy two sets.

I just met with a lactation consultant and had an about this. She advised against wearable, they don’t work for many and cause a decrease in supply more than a normal pump does. They make a bra that holds the pump in place so you can be hands free. And if you get one that has a battery you can move the base as needed.

Wearable pumps aren’t recommended as a main pump. 
What’s your goal? Exclusively pump? Pump when away from babe? Pump once a day to build a small stash?

I really like my wearable except I still have to sit pretty still with it. I have the willow go and it’s great not having cords and equipment everywhere, but if I’m pumping I have to stay pretty still otherwise it over flows (I am an oversupplier though). You gotta stay upright and level. Not being attached to the wall is nice and I can multitask more, but definitely can’t look after my baby while pumping. they make spill proof ones but they’re more expensive. I haven’t had any problems with it being less efficient. I had to stop using it daily because it was too effective and making my oversupply harder to manage. Now I just use a manual hand pump which I’d also really recommend if you just need something quick and easy.
