Single/going at it alone Mamas?

Question

I’m married to my wonderful husband, however he is currently at Navy basic training. Which means little to no contact until he graduates in April. Then he will be at school where i can’t join him. Baby girl is due May 6th so it is highly unlikely he will be with me when she is born. I was just wondering if there are any other Mamas out there who are either single or baby daddy isn’t with them due to other reasons.

Hi, I'm currently in an unusual situation. My partner and I are not really together but he still lives in the house. He is hardly around and does not help out much with the kiddos. He is sort of going through a mental health crisis but it does not excuse his behavior. I really just want him to leave cause I feel like it would be easier without having to feel disappointed every time he doesn't help out or be there for us. I also want him to be here in the slightest chance he could get his shit together and be present. It's a stressful and difficult situation. The kids absolutely love him and I'm scared to be 100% on my own cause I don't know how hard this baby will be and I have a 5 and 3 year old. 
I bet it will be very hard to do it initially without your partner. Is this your first child?
