My boyfriend needs some time to think about me and him getting back together is this a bad sign?

Me and my boyfriend broke up a few days ago and I suggested to get back together and he says he needs a few days to think about it. He should know right away right? He’s probably trying to find other girls to date and if he he doesn’t have any luck with that he will go back to me. Is this why he needs until Tuesday to give me a clear answer? Is this most likely why he needs time to think about it?

You just broke up and within a few days you’re already asking to get back together. That’s toxic in itself. Him asking for a weirdly specific amount of time to “think” is weird.

Bruh yall JUST broke up. Did it ever occur to you that maybe the reason he needs to think about it is because you just broke up and there are obviously reasons why? It doesnt matter if he is talking to other girls, or if he just needs time to himself to get his own mind right. You broke up. He is NOT your boyfriend anymore. Honestly if you just broke up a few days ago and youre immediate conclusion to him needing time to think about getting back together is because he is trying to get with other girls and IF he decides to go back to you then you are his backup/ last resort, then you do not need to be with him or anyone. You are toxic. You need to sit down and think about why yall broke up in the first place and work on whatever it is that you need to work on before getting involved with someone else.

OK now I see the problem (I commented on the other post without seeing this one first)… It is possible that he is dating someone else and wants to try things out with them before getting back together with you. Or he could just be testing out single life without you and seeing if that's better than being with you. It doesn't necessarily mean he's trying to hook up with anyone, just trying to give himself time to see if he's happier without you. ￼￼

Honestly there's a million reasons why someone could need time to think about getting back together after just barely breaking up. From history with previous relationships having an off and on to why you two broke up in the first place. I would say if it was a long time after then sure but it's legit only been days. Knowing right away isn't for everyone and he could very well be putting real thought into it. Give the guy a moment to breathe and see what he comes to you with. 
Like around 2 years back my ex(i was with him for 2-3 years) and i were discussing possibly trying again after 4 years being separated and he turned back around and hesitated after agreeing to try again. That's a whole different situation than a few days, sometimes it can be a while and if there feels like there's a need to rush it's probably not it for you in the long run.
