friend wedding & bf bday same day!

Hi everyone! I need your input and advice. One of my best friends from college asked me to be a bridesmaid in her wedding. However, the wedding is the same day as my boyfriend‘s birthday. We have been together for seven years. What should I do? I feel like I should accept because it is a huge honor, and I adore our friendship, but I also feel bad because my boyfriend does not want to go to the wedding because 1) it is his birthday and 2) he doesn’t know anyone there, besides my friend, and I’m IN the wedding so I won’t be around him much anyway.
