Breastfeeding coming to end

I will be 10 months postpartum on the 28th. My baby has all mamas milk, it is hard work but so thankful i have been able to produce this far.

Last week we got hit with stomach bug and 2 weeks ago I was cramping really bad, and spotting. I believe period might be coming back??? I have had a dip in supply. I have had to get into freezer.

I would rather start whole milk(mixed with breast milk) instead of mixing with a formula that he will only be on for 2 months. I honestly don’t want to go through the hassle of finding a formula that works for him. What’s the thoughts?? Of course I’m going to talk to my pediatrician.
