Looking for advice!!

Hey ya’ll! I don’t typically make personal post but i’m at a standstill and looking for advice on what should be my next move.

I have been with my boyfriend for 2 years and recently had our first child in October, our pregnancy was not planned. Things got a little weird between us since having our son but nothing worth thinking too hard about since we would talk out any issues and he was actively involved with helping care for the baby.

Around the end of February our landlord offered us a larger apartment (in the same building) that we jumped on immediately. I decided it would be best for me and our son to stay with my parents while we move over furniture and paint rooms. During that time I would occasionally drive down to check on the apartment and help organize things, I started to realize that he was not helping contribute to getting the new apartment prepared for me and our son to move back in. Every time I would go to the apartment he would have friends over, partying. He is more than welcome to drive up (20 minutes) and play with our son but hasn’t. I bought our son over to the new apartment to look around and my boyfriend tried playing with him, our baby refused to look at him and almost couldn’t even recognize him. My boyfriend was hurt about it and tried blaming me for it, I told him that he could come over to see him anytime but all he said was “I know” and shrugged it off.

Now almost April we are still living with my parents, nothing prepared in the apartment for us. My parents started getting involved going over to help contribute to getting the place ready for me and baby to move back in. They were hoping to have us in there yesterday night but after seeing that nothing was happening and he had guys in the living room smoking and partying they begged for me to come back to their place, now they are questioning whats happening and why hasn’t he done anything.

I mean…is he not doing anything cause he doesn’t want us to move back in with him? Has anyone been through this situation before and what was your outcome?
