When did you announce?

We announced in January to immediate family but nobody else knows. Our bosses know but that’s about it. I didn’t know how to approach my peers and didn’t want to make a special announcement so today my manager asked when did I plan to announce and I told her idk but if she wanted to tell people it’s not a secret. So she’ll be delivering the message lol, is that bad? I honestly think it’s weird walking up to ppl and saying “I’m pregnant” they’re just coworkers. 
When did you announce on social medial and how did you announce to your peers?

My team is all over the country. I mentioned it during recognition on a team call. I recognized them for covering for me when I had appointments and was out on maternity leave. I only really speak with one person in my team outside of work. I don’t know the rest well.

We told our immediate family (parents/siblings) at about 14 weeks and then never made an announcement. People at work knew once they could see my belly it we never posted

I ￼told family and friends at 12 weeks and then waited until 20 weeks to make a social media post and did “half baked” photos.  As far as work goes I told two people that I’m close to and then over time just slowly slipped it into conversation and the news spread on its own sort of.

I did the same thing. I told my bosses and then the word spread quickly. I don’t make pregnancy announcements on social media i just randomly post a casual pic or maybe bring it up in a comment if it applies lol. Then everyone starts asking questions and I confirm. I’ve seen some really cute announcements from other people though, it’s just not my thing.
