I am looking for a new way to take care of my period. I’ve used pads my entire life but I’m getting tired of them. I’ve tried tampons and they never went well with me but I’m wanting to try again. Give me the good and the bad between tampons vs flex cup vs period panties. I would also love personal experience and best brands for beginners. TIA!

I used a cup prior to having my son in 2023. After that the cups just didn’t work anymore. I hate tampons so I decided to try a disk instead and they are amazing! I will wear it all day and then just remove it in the shower at night l.

I’ve tried all there is out there. What I currently do is: menstrual cup for the heaviest days (usually day one and two), regular sized tampons during the day for all other not-quite-as-heavy days, period panties at night for days 3-6 to give my vagina a break. Panty liners if there’s any residual after the fact. That’s what works for me!
