Tubes taken out?

Ok mamas, I'm 33 with 4 kids. I'm currently 5 days late and scared to take a pregnancy test , but will later this evening 🫠 if it's negative, I want to schedule getting my tubes completely removed. 
 My body doesn't tolerate birth control, so we've been using condoms off and on for a few years. My husband won't get a vasectomy because it could possibly increase your risk of Alzheimer's, and with his dad having Alzheimer's he's scared to take that chance, understandably. We are absolutely done having babies lol 
Anyways, how was recovery after having them removed? 
Mood swings? Periods more heavy? I need all the details!

There really is no conclusive evidence that it causes Alzheimer’s, that study came out in 2006 and to date we have not been able to conclude that it increases the chances of PPA. There are far more health risks associated with getting your tubes tied. Generally though there is still a pretty low risk for you to experience adverse symptoms. Most women I know only experienced changes in their cycles. My moms are more painful now than before.

There is no proof a vasectomy causes Alzheimer’s. 
It’s a simple procedure that is less invasive and safer than removing your tubes.
