I’m confused!!

This is my 2nd cycle since having my baby. 6 months PP. we just started trying for baby number 2 and I was 4 days late - all negative pregnancy test and my ‘Period’ came today and it just looks brown with the occasional red?? I’ve never had this happen. Any insight??
